York's Food Assistance Programs

Beginning April 6th, the school lunch program will be served on Monday’s and Thursday’s with pickup still at the York Police Department, 9 Hannaford Drive.
The York Library site has been closed.

Pick up is between 11-12 pm.
Table of Plenty will be canceled until further notice.
New Grocery Shopping Program Available - If you need a volunteer to help you shop and deliver your groceries please call Donald Martin at 207-337-1867. Donald will connect you with a volunteer in town who can help.
If you want to volunteer to help with this service please call Donald too.
If you have a fever, cough or difficulty breathing, please contact your healthcare provider.
For more information on Maine’s response to COVID-19 and updated testing results, visit the Maine CDC website. Additionally, Maine CDC and 211 Maine have launched a new option for Mainers to get answers to questions about COVID-19 at any time. This service is available by dialing 211 (or 1-866-811-5695), texting your zip code to 898-211, or emailing info@211maine.org.
Current Food Pantry Changes
The Food Pantry will be closed on 4/9.
Please check back here for future dates.
In order to help keep everyone safe and healthy during this time
we have made some easy changes at the Food Pantry.
Just follow these steps!
1) Before coming to the pantry, please call or email your grocery lists to Maureen on Wednesday, the day before the Food Pantry is open. (Or you may hear from a volunteer)

In order to continue to keep everyone safe, we are no longer taking the lists directly at the pantry.

2) Please stay in your car and your order will be brought out to you.
3) Our Thursday night hours are changed to 5:00 to 6:00.
4) If you need assistance with home delivery please call Maureen at 207- 363-5504 ext 3..
We want everyone to be safe and warm and have plenty of food during
this time so let us know how we can help you!
